SAMPLE KOREA PROGRAMME:
Day 1: Arrival In Seoul
Arrival at Incheon Airport, meet & greet by tour guide. Transfer to Seoul. Visit Seoul Tower to obtain the panoramic views of bustling Seoul. After dinner, hotel check in
Day 2: Seoul
Full day Seoul sightseeing with highlights; Pass by Gwanghwamun Square & Cheongwadae Presidential Blue House, Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Folk Museum, Insadong Antique Street, Namdaemun Market, Myeongdong Shopping District, Nanta Performance, Gyeongbokgung Palace: served as the main place of Joseon Dynasty(1392-1910). Insadong Antique Street: filled with art galleries, traditional craft stores, antique shops, traditional tea houses and restaurants. Namdaemun Market: the largest traditional market in Korea with various goods in store. Myeongdong: largely a commercial area being one of South Korea’s main shopping and tourism districts.
Day 3: Seoul
After breakfast, drive to Yongin. Visit Korean Folk Village & Everland Amusement Park with free pass. Korean Folk Village: shows visitors to the past traditional life of Koreans. There are potters, weavers, blacksmiths, and other artisans who still practice their trades in traditional fashion. Everland: a large theme park boasting a zoo, snow sled, and botanical garden.
Day 4: Seoul – Sokcho
After breakfast, hotel check out. Depart for Sokcho and visit Mt. Seoraksan National Park (Gwongeumseong Peak by cable car, Sinheungsa Temple), Depohang Port, Mt. Seoraksan National Park: the most beautiful national parks in Korea, with towering granite peaks, lush green valleys, Buddhist temples, dense forests and clear streams. Daepohang Port: filled with raw fish restaurants and a live fish market
Day 5: Sokcho – Wonju – Andong
After breakfast, hotel check out. Move to Wonju and enjoy cultural experience of making Hanji( Traditional Paper) & Folk Craft. Transfer to Andong the home of Confucianism in Korea and visit Hahoe Folk Village a UNESCO heritage site. Hahoe Folk Village: a valuable part of Korean culture because it preserves Joseon period-style architecture, folk traditions, valuable books, and old tradition of clan-based villages.
Day 6: Andong – Gyeongju
After breakfast, hotel check out. Leave for Gyeongju, City of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Cultural Heritage of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC – AD 935); Bulguksa Temple, Folk Craft Village, Daereungwon Tumuli Park, Cheomseongdae Observatory. Bulguksa Temple: one of Asia’s finest Buddhist shrines & enlisted to UNESCO’s Heritage. Daereungwon Tumuli Park: more than 20 large and small tombs from the Silla period. Cheomseongdae Observatory: the oldest surviving observatory in East Asia, and one of the oldest scientific installations on Earth.
Day 7: Gyeongju – Busan
Move to Busan and enjoy full day Excursion to Busan, Korea’s Premier Port City. Street food & seafood Shopping at Nampodong street & Jagalchi Fish Market. Enjoy some free time at Haeundae Beach. Nampodong street & Jagalchi Fish Market: Korea’s largest seafood market. Haeundae Beach: one of the most populated areas in the summer with people on their vacation.
Day 8: Busan – Jeju
After breakfast, hotel check out. Board a flight for Jeju Island; boasting a scenic beauties of beaches, waterfalls and cliffs. Arrive at Jeju, enjoy afternoon tour to Seongjsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak, Seongeup Folk Village, Olle Market. Seongsan Ilchulbong: a volcanic crater which is enlisted to UNESCO’s Natural Heritage. Seongeup Folk Village: a small town that holds a vast amount of Jeju traditional culture.
Day 9: Jeju
Full day Jeju tour – Western Part; Hallim Park, Hyeopje Beach, O Sulloc Tea Museum, Yongmeori Haean(Dragon Head Beach), Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, Jungmun Tourist Shopping Complex. Hallim Park: consisting of botanical gardens, lava caves and folk village. Hyeopje Beach: white sand beach and the emerald-colored water. O Sulloc Tea Museum: can relax next to the green tea plantation. Jusangjeolli Cliff: the scenic rock pillars piled up along the coast.
Day 10: Jeju – Seoul
After breakfast, hotel check out. Board a flight and return to Seoul. Shopping at Dongdaemun Market, SM Duty Free B/D . Dongdaemun: Shopping Complex as a large shopping district composing of both traditional and modern markets.
Day 11: Seoul – DMZ – Seoul
After breakfast, hotel check out. Transfer to Imjingak and for DMZ Tour (The 3rd Tunnel, Dora Observatory, Dorasan Station). Return to Seoul and Free time at Itaewon street. DMZ : to understand the tragic history of Korea, which is presently divided into two countries by the Demilitarized Zone
Day 12: Seoul & Depart
Morning pick up & transfer to the Incheon airport. Board a flight for your departure
