DESCRIPTION
Most of our programmes in Germany have been tried and tested over many years so we know they’re good! Homestay accommodation is available for those studying languages, although the quality of the hostels we use is also very high across most of Germany. We can arrange complete tours of Germany, Rhineland cruises, business studies excursions to the likes of major car manufacturing factories and of course the famous Christmas markets!
We have many programmes available, and can also offer bespoke multi-country programmes including Germany, Austria (Vienna) & Switzerland (Zurich/Lucerne) – please enquire for more info. The below programme is a taster of what can be accomplished in a 3 day 2 night visit.
SAMPLE CULTURAL INITERNARY IN BERLIN
Day 1: Flight & Tour
Morning flight and transfer to your accommodation. Guided tour of central Berlin covering key historical sites in Berlin, including the Berlin Wall. Evening meal at your hotel.
Day 2: East Germany
Guided tour of Cold War Berlin to see all the major sites of Communist East Germany followed by a visit to Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie. Explore everyday life in East Germany at the DDR Museum. Evening meal at your hotel followed by free time around Potsdamer Platz.
Day 3: Return home
AM tour around Hohenschönhausen Memorial. PM transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
